Shaped around the spokes, with artwork protected inside
Each printed PET guard is thermoformed after printing to create a profiled shape that follows the wheel spokes. This three-dimensional form adds rigidity; the edges are rounded for a smooth finish.
The design is printed on the back of the plastic, so the material shields the print from everyday contact. From the front, the artwork has a slightly glossy finish. Our spoke guards are made in the European Union.
More than a different look
As well as enhancing the look of your wheelchair, our spoke guards offer practical benefits: they help reduce the risk of fingers coming into contact with the spokes and make the wheels easier to clean. Standard designs are produced to order in the selected size, giving individual wheelchair users, families and specialist retailers a broad choice of artwork.
Start with your tyre marking, then check the measurements
The inch marking on a tyre is not the diameter of the spoke guard. Our four options have the following guard diameters:
- 24″ wheel — 505 mm spoke guard
- 22″ wheel — 450 mm spoke guard
- 20″ wheel — 410 mm spoke guard
- 17″ wheel — 333 mm spoke guard

Does the price include two spoke guards?
Yes. Spoke guards are sold in pairs. A quantity of 1 means one pair containing two guards. The displayed product price is the price for the pair.
How do I choose a size?
Check your tyre marking. The spoke guard diameters are: 24″ — 505 mm; 22″ — 450 mm; 20″ — 410 mm; 17″ — 333 mm.
Can you print my own artwork?
Yes. A-500 is our custom artwork option. Contact us to discuss your design and production requirements. An online design editor is not available at this stage.
Material & construction
Thermoformed PET, shaped to follow the wheel spokes. The profiled form adds rigidity and gives the guard a refined appearance.
The artwork is printed on the reverse side of the plastic. The material protects the print from damage, while the front has an elegant, slightly glossy finish.
The edges are rounded rather than sharp. Made in the European Union.
